| Biography: Charles “Chukkie” Green resides in Danville Illinois; he is a singer/songwriter. Two of Charles songs won runner up in a national songwriting competition others were placed on various CD projects. He has written songs that are of hope, peace, and love. His songs are also inspirational and Christian based. His song “Fly Away” was released in February 2005. Charles has written songs in the following genre; R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Christian, and Christmas.
Charles was inspired by his Family, environment and friends to begin writing songs. He was inspired to sing in 2004 after reading a book The Purpose driven life by Rick Warren. During this time Charles was going through some rough/tough times and it was revealed to him that he should sing the songs that he writes. "I feel that God wanted me to write and sing to stay focused on him and his purpose for me".
His main focus is his music ministry writing inspirational songs. He is now concentrating on completing his CD titled “Save The Children”.
Charles is a member of the following: BMI, GMA, MUSICSUBMIT, MUSIC GORILLA, SONICBIDS, TAXI, BROADJAM, OUTBOUND, ISOUND, ITUNES, KCCM AND GOSPELSWAP
Charles recently performed in the great musical Ragtime.

As a child Charles Green grew up in Enterprise, Alabama where he met his wife Fran (Dothan, Alabama). Fran and Charles has two children Chuckie, Jasmine. Charles lived in Austin, Texas for a few years before moving to Illinois via South Bend, Indiana.
After moving to Illinois Charles received his college degree in electronics and computer operations
Charles and his family attends New Life Christian Center, Danville Illinois.
